Our range of equipment allows inspection
for most environments and we offer specialist design allowing
individual customer requirements to be achieved, whilst remaining
focused on timescales and cost. A number of remote automated
inspection systems have been developed in conjunction with key
organisations, allowing critical equipment to be inspected and
returned to operation ensuring minimal ‘down-time’.
JD7 specialise in both wired and wireless camera systems. This allows
equipment to be inspected during operation e.g. gas turbine component
inspection during test-bed running. These systems are beneficial,
allowing component performance to be monitored during cycles.
Applications have included remote visual inspection of:
- Piping systems (water and gas)
- Gas turbines (operation and
component inspection)
- Industrial turbines
- Steam generators (SG’s)
- Headers
- Heat transfer tubing (heat
exchangers)
- Structures
- Propellers, shafts and pods (marine
and aerospace)
- Valves
- Large and small scale bearings
Our systems are fully water and oil
proof, with operating temperature ranges between –60 Deg C to +190 Deg
C.
Once a defect has been identified our replication systems may be
deployed for further defect analysis. Please refer to surface
replication for further info.
Our site engineers are fully trained with the use of RVI equipment
from remote camera operation to specialist machine implementation and
configuration.
